17/7/03 ¡Todos los King's Kids estamos siendo bendecidos grandemente, incluso los 33 italianos que se nos han unido para entrenamiento! Han aprendido a perder la verguenza, a orar y a hablar en público. También están experimentando el amor de Dios y del grupo con muchas sonrisas. Otros están aprendiendo lo que es la responsabilidad: a asumirla y obedecer y se nota la unidad de todos. Nos cuesta a los líderes de grupos de acción, pero estamos practicando el famoso lema de los King´s, "¡¡ejemplo, ejemplo, ejemplo!!""
All the King´s Kids are really being blessed (including the 33 Italians who have joined us for training! We´ve had to learn how to forget about our embarrassment, to pray and talk in public. Also many are experiencing the real love of God and of the team amid many smiles. Others are learning about responsibility: how to take it on and obey other leaders, and you can really see the difference in the team unity. It´s not easy for us action group leaders, but we´re learning how to practice the famous principle of King´s Kids "example, example, example!". Los españoles hemos estado aprendiendo canciones en Italiano y los italianos en el Español. Nuestra primera actuacion fue en la iglesia de Torino (donde nos invito el famoso Albino Montisci).

hemos
estado actuando en las plazas y, realmente, todo nos ha ido muy
bien. En las plazas ha habido mucha gente con ganas de escuchar
la palabra de Dios. Una de las noches después de las actuaciones,
hicimos grupos de edades, de 14 anyos hacia arriba estabamos juntos.
Hablamos algo sobre el pecado, y cada uno daba su opinión.
Unos pensaban que fumar y tener relaciones sexuales fuera del matrimonio
fueron lo peor. Otros tenían opiniones muy diversas. Luego
Kenny compartió un poco sobre su vida y la reunión
continuó con que todos aquellos que quisieran pedirle a Dios
perdón por todos sus pecados tuvieran la oportunidad. Practicamente
salieron todos. Estuvimos orando horas (que pasaron como segundos),
e incluso sabemos de una conversión que se dio entre las
participantes italianas. Practiamente todos escuchamos palabras
de Dios todos los dias. Yo particularmente sé que Dios me
está machacando en el tema de sentirme amada, porque muchas
veces me despreció a mi misma y pienso de que lo mejor hubiera
sido no nacer. Pero este mes lo estoy disfrutando porque gracias
a palabras y cosas que me dicen companyeros y mi mayor disposición
para escuchar a Dios, me siento mucho mejor. Por eso quiero agradecer
a todos la ayuda y el amor que me ha hecho sentir bien. Creo
que lo peor del tour hasta ahora son los mosquitos que nos están
comiendo. The Spanish participants are learning Italian songs and vice versa. Are first performance was in the church in Torino, invited by the famous Italian Christian musician, Albino Montisci. After that we hit the streets, and it has really gone well. En the plazas there were lots of people with a real desire to hear the word of God. One night, after the
street ministry, we separated into age groups. The 14 and up age group talked about sin, and each gave his or her opinion. Some thought that smoking and having sexual relacions outside of marriage was the worst. Others had widely differing opinions. Kenny then shared a little about his life and the meeting continued giving time for all those who wanted to ask God´s forgiveness for their sins to do so. Just about everybody did! We were literally praying for several hours which seemed like only seconds, and even one of the Italians, Miriam, gave her life to the Lord for the first time. We are all listening to God these days. I personally have been feeling the Lord work on me in the area of feeling loved. I put myself down a lot and think that it would be better if I had never been born. But I am really enjoying this month because, thanks to these words from God and things that my teammates are saying, I feel a lot better. For this reason, I want to thank everybody for their help and love that has made me feel so much better. About the only thing that has gone really bad so far is the mosquitos that are eating us alive! José luis predicó el domingo y muchos fueron impactados. El equipo de liderazgo está haciendo un trabajo excelente. A pesar del cansancio, están currando un mazo. Es guay trabajar juntos.
Mañana jueves (el 17 de julio), tenemos todo el día "flex" para visitar Torino y actuar por la tarde en la Piazza -Castelo. El viernes tenemos una fiesta y el sábado nos vamos para Génova para coger el barco hacia Sardinia. Apreciamos vuestras oraciones continuas, José Luis preached on Sunday and many were impacted. The leadership team is doing a great job. Despite fatigue, they are really going for it. Tomorrow (Thursday, July17) we have a "flex" day to visit Torino and then perform in the aternoon in the Piazza de Castelo in the city center.
