KK05 Tour "Sur" reportaje nº 3
We´re
now in Motril where we are all being housedin the facilities of
a church here. But we aren´t alone! Bueno,
ahora un reportaje especial de dos participantes... Durante
nuestra estancia en Rincón de la Victoria, no era de esperar
que a las tantas de la madrugada estuviéramos durmiendo plácidamente.
Pero ese día, Bueno, es el segundo día que estamos en Motril y los jóvenes de aquí ya tienen su grupito pero están hablando con nosotros y están conectándose con nosotros y con Jesús. Esperamos que los jóvenes de aquí aprendan "estar conectados" más con Dios.
It´s now the second day that we are here in Motril, and the youth here ahve their little group, pero we are now talking and connecting to each other and to Jesus. We hope we´ll all be a bit better "conecta2" before it´s done.
The last three days, we have had special times of worship together with the church youth. I have really felt touched and have never before seen anything like it. People on their knees, communing with God. I know this experience has changed my life and of others as well. Una cosa curiosa de Jos'e Luis es que tiene una gran cantidad de la gente de su alrededor que se parte la caja con sus tonter'ias. Una de ellas es que sabe cantar "Mazinger Z", pero no en español sino en Japonés. In closing, one of the curious things about José Luis is that he has a bunch of us falling on the floor laughin over the crazy things he does. One thing is that he can sing the theme song of the Japanese cartoon show "Mazinger Z", but not only in Spoanish, in Japanese!! Tus

Ya
estamos en Motril! Estamos todos alojados en las dependencias de
una iglesia aquí. ¡Pero no estamos sólos! Hasta
veinte otros jóvenes de la iglesia se han unido con nosotros
para experimentar King´s, 10 incluso durmiendo aquí,
Nos recibieron con una barbacoa riquísima el día de
la llegada, y, honestamente, estamos comiendo muy bien. La pareja
pastoral tiene una visión fuerte para los jóvenes
y ha sido genial juntarnos buscar cómo alegrar el corazón
de Dios juntos. 
Up
to 20 other young people from the church have joined with us to
experience King´s Kids, including 10 that stay overnight with
the team. They received us the first night with a wonderful bar-b-que,
and, to tell the truth, we´re eating quite well! The pastoral
couple, Gerardo and Arlet, have a strong vision for youth and it
has been great to work together and see how we can please God´s
heart in these few days here.

tocó un poco de susto. 3 mesas estaban mal colocadas en un
rincón del comedor, y esa noche durmimos allí, ya
que era el único lugar donde pasan las brisas para aguantar
un calor insoportable. Se ve que debió pasar una corriente
o algo, que las mesas se me precipitaron encima. Gracias que no
me hice daño, pero la pobre Gretel se pasó tal susto
que despertó a todo el campamento del chillido que pegó.
During
our time in Rincón de la Victoria, we managed to be sleeping
peacefully at some time in the wee hours of the morning when we
had quite a scare. 3 tables had not been put up correctly in a corner
of the dining room where we were sleeping because it was the only
place with breezes to help us get through asphyxiating heat. It
must have been a sudden gust of wind or something, but the tables
crahsed down on top of me. Thankfully, I wasn´t hurt, but
poor Gretel was so scared she woke the whole team up with her screaming.
Los
últimos tres días, hemos tenido tiempos especiales
de alabanza juntos con otros chicos de la iglesia. La emoción
me cega, nunca había visto tal cosa. Personas arrodilladas,
aceptando Dios a su corazón, de verdad, esta experiencia
ha cambiado mi vida, y seguro la de muchas otras personas, también.
