In Sarajevo,
the capital, there has never been a generation without war. The children
of yesterday's conflict are the parents today. The tragedy is huge and
marks the faces and stories of the families you will meet. Just a few
facts to consider: The radical Muslim factions have targeted Bosnia
to be the first Muslim state in Europe! For every Christian missionary
in Bosnia, there are 3 missionaries for Mohammed! The birthrate is less
than 20% needed to replace the population and many relief organizations
are counselling abortion as the easy way out of crushing poverty. ***Team limit 12 persons***. Special

Can
a bunch of youth really make a difference in THE
BASQUE COUNTRY, the most ancient ethnic group in Spain?
Is it possible to bring encouragement and peace to children and families
in BOSNIA who have only
known war for as many generations as anyone can remember? Would you
like to live the answer to these questions? But, WATCH
OUT!
BASQUE
COUNTRY, JULY 8-29 It
all starts with an intensive "bootcamp" from July 8-13 near
Vitoria in northern Spain. You'll be training with radical youth from
all over Spain and other nations. In between a ton of rehearsals, devotional
times and pro-active prayer, you´ll learn how to hear from God
and act while making new friends and having a blast. Then, it's off
to Vitoria (the capital of the Basque Region) and Barakaldo (the party
capital!), among other places. Your heart will be moved when you encounter
the history and generosity of the Basques. If you are between 10 and
19 years old, and/or this is your first time to participate in a King's
Kids tour, there is a place reserved for you on this tour! But space
is limited. So, what are you waiting for? 
Bosnia
(August 18-28) If you are at least 15 years old and
are a veteran of another King's Kids tour, take the challenge to go
beyond your frontiers to the country of BOSNIA in the former Yugoslavia.
The
government has decided in many cases not to rebuild ruined neighborhoods
because they don´t believe the current peace will last long enough
to make a difference. But, armed with hammers, paintbrushes and the
joy of the Lord, we´re going there to serve a new King's Kids
outreach ministry. We will be building, painting and restoring, in both
the physical and spiritual, living out the truth that it is "more
blessed to give than to receive." Want to come along?
